Rainforest Copaiba, Andiroba and Acai reduce the appearance of blemishes and balance oil. The synergy between the 3 bioactives makes this blend a perfect ingredient to improve the health of oily and blemish-prone skin. It has been clinically proven to reduce the appearance of blemishes by 42% and sebum production by 65%.
Alpine Epilobium balances oil production and reduces the appearance of pores. An extract from an Alpine flower, it acts to prevent the pro inflammatory alpha reductase mechanism on the skin which causes irritation and over production of oil. It has been clinically proven to reduce oil production by 55% and the appearance of pores by 18%.
Willow Bark clarifies congested pores and boosts exfoliation. Willow bark from the North American Black Willow Tree is rich in tannins and salicylic acid-like materials. Salicylic acid enhances skin cell turnover which gives a general improvement in the smoothness of skin which also results in a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Willow Bark has been clinically proven to possess anti-microbial properties and boost cellular renewal (24% vs 22% for synthetic salicylic acid). It also has antimicrobial properties and is found to be non irritating in comparison to synthetic salicylic acid.
